Description
The North American B-25J Mitchell
is a twin-engine bomber that was deployed to the U.S. Army Air Corps.
-In January 1938, the US Army issued an order to prototype an attack bomber, and
the NA-40, which can be said to be the predecessor of the B-25, was developed.
Unfortunately, the NA-40 was not able to pass the Army's review, but
its basic design attracted attention and development was continued.
Thus, the improved NA-62 was born, and
was adopted by the US Army as the B-25 in August 1939.
Because this aircraft is sturdy and easy to handle, it
was mainly used in the Pacific Theater where airfield facilities were poor.
The J type is an aircraft whose production began in December 1943 and
became the mainstream type at the end of the war.
The kit is developed as the definitive version of the B-25J!
This time, we
are recreating an early version of the glass-nose aircraft with a transparent windshield. Machine guns can be selected from 3 or 5 guns.
The bomb bay can be opened or closed, and two bombs are loaded inside.
A gun pack can be equipped on the side of the fuselage.
The parts structure
is designed to be easy to assemble, such as by passing girders through the main wings.
