Description
The Lockheed F-104 is an aircraft developed as a supersonic air superiority fighter. At the time, the F-104 was said to be the last manned fighter aircraft,
with a small and lightweight aircraft equipped with a large thrust engine and a maximum speed of Mach 2. However, the U.S. Air Force's policy subsequently changed and the F-104, which was too small to carry data links, was deployed in small numbers. However, the West German Air Force, which noticed the high performance of the F-104, adopted the G type, the Japanese Air Self-Defense Force adopted the J type, the Italian Air Force adopted the S type, NATO countries also adopted the F-104, and the Canadian Air Force adopted the CF -104. It was adopted as 104. The F-104 also has a two-seat type for practice.
