Description
A-10A, Operation Iraqi Freedom - Academy 12402
Although slow compared to aircraft of the same era, the A-10 Thunderbolt II was a purpose-built attack platform. Entering service in 1976 with the USAF, the A-10A had all the elements of a competent ground support aircraft. With multiple redundancies, substantial pilot protection, and many offensive capabilities, the Thunderbolt II remains in service today as the updated A-10C variant. This model recreates the A-10A Thunderbolt II in two finishing options. The fully assembled model in 1/72 scale is 223.5mm long and 58.4mm tall.
