Description
Polikarpov I-16 Type 24 - Academy 12314
The Soviet Polikarpov I-16 was a unique Soviet fighter available in huge numbers at the beginning of WWII, supplying valuable service until 1943 when more modern types replaced it. While revolutionary when introduced in the 1930s, it just couldn't keep up with the more powerful and aerodynamically refined aircraft of the 1940s. This special edition boxing of the I-16, Type 24, contains five sprues with over 50 plastic parts and markings for four fighter versions.
