M36/M36B2, Battle of the Bulge - Academy 13501

The M36 replaced the M10 due to its inferior 3 in. weapon. The much-improved M36 wielded a 90mm gun and featured an armor-piercing capability. This was a crucial change when confronting German Panthers and Tigers during the Battle of the Bulge. The M36 used M10A1 hulls, and later the M36B2 was produced using the M26 turret and the hull of an M4A2 with its diesel engine. Service life for these tanks was quite extensive and they were used by other nations following the war. This kit with over 440 plastic parts authentically recreates the M36 or M36B2 with six finishing options in 1/35 scale. The fully assembled model is 20.8cm long and 9.5cm tall.
