Description
P-40B, Tomahawk - Academy 12456
The assault on Pearl Harbor (1941) sparked the USA’s involvement in WWII. The attack left many of the aircraft and ships of Battleship Row destroyed. A fierce dogfight ensued with Curtiss P40Bs against the devastating Mitsubishi Zero. Among the brave men to answer the call was George S. Welch, who flew against the Japanese forces, downing several of their aircraft, including a Zero. This Academy kit with over 45 plastic parts faithfully recreates the P-40B "Tomahawk" in 1/72 scale.
