Description
The F-4U-1D Corsair is a U.S. Navy/Marine Corps fighter aircraft that was active in World War II. The Corsair's engine was equipped with an air-cooled engine (a method that uses air to cool the engine), which
was said to be the highest standard at the time . This engine has a powerful output, and in order to make full use of this power, the propeller diameter has been increased to 3.82 m. For this reason, when equipped with normal wings, the propeller would hit the ground, so a distinctive inverted gull type main wing (shaped like an inverted seagull wing) was created. Thanks to this inverted gull type main wing, we were able to increase the distance to the ground without having to lengthen the front legs.
