Description
The McDonnell Douglas F-4E Phantom II is
an advanced version of the U.S. Air Force fighter-bomber F-4C/D, and
is the first Phantom II equipped with a 20m/m Vulcan gun.
For E-type production block 48 and later aircraft,
the main wing leading edge flaps have been modified to leading edge slats,
improving air combat performance.
In addition, a target identification device, TISEO, is installed on the leading edge of the left wing, and an
ARN-101Mod antenna is additionally installed on the back of the fuselage.
