Bring big power to your HO railroad with the WalthersMainline SD75M! Built from 1995 to 1996 at the request of the Santa Fe for a higher horsepower unit (4300 versus 4000 for a standard SD70), most were later transferred to the new Burlington Northern & Santa Fe Railway following the 1995 merger, where many are still in service for BNSF. These units were built with the wide North American Safety Cab, thus the ""M"" (for ""modified"") in the model designation. Other features include:

PLEASE NOTE: When operating Walthers-branded DCC-equipped locomotives in DC mode, do not use power packs that exceed an 18V rating. This includes MRC 1300-series power packs which have known issues with our decoders.
