This is a beautiful model! Paint is PERFECT! Trucks are very nicely done. Grab irons in the right place, the little chain on the gangway between MU engines. Fueling gauges and overflow pipe. The front and back ends include the MU hoses. Less expensive models leave these off, but this is a must-have for me. Wind deflectors in the front and back of the side cab windows. Even the fans beneath the grates. The small details made this model. Even the GM production plate. The tiny O rings used to lift the sheet metal on top of the unit...The details of the air brake actuators. This is one of the best plastic models ever produced. It has a lot of details brass engines don't even have. The only thing I can see that I would have liked to have seen included are tiny pieces of plastic inside the marker lights, both sides on both ends. Doesn't have to be lit. Kudos to whomever designed this--he, she, or they knocked it out of the park. Superb model! Well worth every penny of its price!

I’ve always liked the GPs, and the demonstrator scheme goes with everything! My Paragon 3 experience has not been good. My P3 Challenger (the only one I kept) was dead out of the box, and after three decoders, two GoPacks, one motor and a trip to Florida it finally runs well. I have only had one day with this P4 GP20, but I’m convinced BLI has got it right. It runs smooth, does not surge or stall, it programs reliably and sounds good. I’m more of a big steam guy, but the detailing of this GP20 is really nice. I set the start voltage to 1, and at speed step 1 it will creep on the track. I gave it 4 of 5 stars because it arrived with a broken coupler, and the decoder is loud. With the sound muted, you can hear the decoder working to pulse the motor, especially at slow speeds & under load. I don’t have anything else as loud (TCS, Tsunami, Digitrax…). As long as it keeps running well, I think I will be happy with it.
