The HO scale Design Preservation Model kit of Schultz's Garage is a versatile little building that can be used to represent a multitude of different businesses. In my case, I'm using it to convey a small repair shop that double duty's as a gas station. The vehicles and other details seen in my photo are not included in the kit. It's plastic and Plastruct glue adheres the sections together quite well with a tight bond. My biggest concern, is the lack of 'open' doors. I would like to see an option for doors that would include a choice of open or closed doors. The brick detail for the exterior walls is very crisp with the detail being clean and prominent, being molded in a tan color. The doors and window frames are a dark red. I wish they would mold those in white, as the red has a tendency to bleed through lighter colors of paint, even with a good primer coat. I can't say much about the instructions, since the kit is so easy to assemble, that I didn't even look at the instructions. I think that if I built this kit again, I would enlarge the front window to a picture window configuration. It is generally a very good kit, that is simple to construct with a minimum of assembly time. I do recommend it.
