The Lockheed F-35 is a 5th Gen stealth fighter produced in three variants: the F-35A, B, and C. The F-35A CTOL (Conventional take-off and Landing) variant has four internal weapons stations housed within two weapons bays and three external weapons stations. It is the lightest and most maneuverable of the three variants and is intended for use on land from improved runways. The F-35B STOVL (Short Take Off and Verticle Landing) can operate from ships and unimproved runways. The F-35C is explicitly intended for carrier operations and relies on catapult-assisted takeoffs and arrested landings. The F-35 will replace many aircraft currently with the USAF, USN, and USMC, including A-10s, F-16s, and others. This kit contains over 100 transparent and plastic parts for assembling an F-35A with one of seven finishing options for different Air Forces including ROKAF, USAF, Royal Netherlands, Royal Norwegian Air Force, Israeli Air Force, Royal Australian Air Force, and Italian Air Force. The fully assembled model is 21.8cm long and 6cm tall.
