The Hot Wire Foam Cutter makes clean, precise cuts, adjusts for angled cuts and cuts a path 4 1/2" w x 6" d (11.4 cm x 15.2 cm). Use straight-rod option to cut in tight places and for faster cuts - straight rod cuts a path 3 1/2" x 6" (8.89 cm x 15.2 cm). Cutter heats instantly and leaves no mess.
The Hot Wire Foam Cutter Attachment: Bow and Guide (purchased separately) adds versatility to the Hot Wire Foam Cutter and cuts a path 4.5 inches wide by 6 inches deep. Attach the Guide for precise angle cuts.
Use only special nichrome replacement wire. To avoid the emission of toxic fumes, we recommend using the Hot Wire Foam Cutter and the Bow & Guide on Woodland Scenics foam products only.

Factory Direct Hobbies has a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at email@example.com. If your return is accepted, we'll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. You will be responsible for return shipping, unless Factory Direct Hobbies made an error in the fulfillment of your order. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
Damages and issues Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on gift cards.
Exchanges The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. In certain instances, store credit may be provided instead of a refund. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
