Description
The McDonnell Douglas F-15D/DJ Eagle is a two-seat version of the F-15C/J Eagle air superiority fighter aircraft
used by the US Air Force/Japan Air Self-Defense Force as a successor to the F-4 . Even though it is a two-seat type, its flight performance and weapon systems are almost the same as the single-seat type, although the weight has increased slightly. For this reason, it can be used not only for its original mission of flight control training, but also for air supremacy combat and ground attacks as a two-seat fighter with a dual-pilot system . The F-15E Strike Eagle is a further development of the F-15's combat bombing capabilities .
