A total of about 50,000 American M4 Sherman tanks of various types were produced; it was the main battle tank of the Allied Forces in World War II. Production started in 1942, but the Army did not like diesel engines, and it was mainly deployed by the Marine Corps because it used the same fuel as ship engines. In addition to the type equipped with a 75mm gun, a long-barreled 76.2mm gun type was also produced. The 76.2mm gun-mounted type was provided to the Soviet Union. This model kit from Dragon reproduces the M4A2 Sherman tank mainly used by the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II. The commander's cupola can be built as either of two different versions. In addition, each hatch, including the pistol port hatch on the side of the turret, can be built opened or closed.
