Description
Atlas' N scale locomotive is modeled after GE's B23-7 diesel engine with 2250 horsepower and a distinctive carbody. Identified by its wide radiator and power assembly access doors that are just forward of the step in the hood, the B23-7 was built starting in 1977 and is still in service today. There are up to 16 user-selectable horns, 2 user-selectable bells, and 2 user-selectable synchronized brake squeals. Manual and Automatic Notching modes with the ability to change modes ”on the fly ” are provided for true realism.
