Description

Prototype: German Federal Railroad (DB) VT 95.9 series railcar with VB 140 trailer. First series built, in original purple livery, with skylight above the driving position. Delivery condition, resp. state of service around 1952/53. Model: Reduced model:With mfx digital decoder and extensive sound functions. High performance regulated engine with flywheel in the driving car. 2 axles powered. Interior lighting integrated as standard in the driving car and in the trailer. Permanent function of the two-light headlamp and the two red end-of-train lights on the driving car - reversal according to the direction of travel - in conventional operating mode, selection possible in digital mode. Separate selection of the headlight possible on driving positions 2 and 1 of the driving car in digital mode. On the trailer, two red end of convoy lights come on depending on the position of the driving car. Headlight, end of convoy lights and interior lighting provided by maintenance-free warm white and red light-emitting diodes (LED), common switching possible in digital mode. Current conducting drawbars with sliding guide between the units. Additional drawbar without current supplied for multiple pulling. For a unit of four elements maximum (2 double units), a switch is used to extinguish the red light at the end of the convoy on the trailer respectively.
