Description
ASF-X Shinden II is a fantastic and imaginary prototype fighter plane from the Assault Horizon universe. The machine was presented in that universe as a prototype of the later serial F-3 Shinden II fighter. In the Assault Horizon world, the development of ASF-X Shinden II goes back to the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, when the Japanese government decided to create an aircraft capable of providing the country of the Rising Sun with protection against such attacks. Development of the machine started in 2003 and the first flying prototypes were ready in 2018. This year there was the so-called The incident in Haneda, which forced the acceleration of works and the fastest possible introduction of the aircraft to the line, which also happened shortly after. The machine turned out to be so successful that it was also exported to Great Britain. It was characterized by a good maximum speed, great maneuverability, as well as VTOL (shortened take-off and landing) capabilities.
