Delivered new in 1949, the Pennsylvania's Rapids Series sleepers offered overnight travelers a choice of 10 lower-priced roomettes, or more spacious surroundings in one of six double-bedrooms. Several could be found each day on The General and the Broadway Limited, and were still going strong in 1971 when Amtrak took over. PLEASE NOTE: As these cars are the correct protoype length and feature full
