Easy to install and love the fact that I can now have some sound on my DC track. Did have to purchase a stronger transformer so that my diesel would run properly, the one I had was an older model and not quite strong enough

It would be better if it could read existing CV's. Lots of guesswork trying to get my engine to run correctly. I'm still working on it.

Worked as it should…for a while. Then I noticed it was confused, functions moving to other command buttons. Also, no operation unless I press buttons VERY hard. Lately, it has not worked at all. Very disappointed

As always, great service, great prices, great communication after order placed. The BLI 1011 works as advertised, had more features than I thought. I am a DC user and have three MRC 7000's and this even better. Guess I need to buy more BLI locos!

The BLI DC Master Analog Control Module works great with their Paragon 2/3/4 locomotives in DC mode. Since I still run everything on DC I'm able to have basic sounds with this unit. The Broadway Limited Imports new locomotives with DC/DCC work well with it. Really nice to have basic sounds on a DC layout.

Excellent product, it's very easy to connect, it works exactly as described and takes up very little space. The way it connects is so simple! You connect two wires to the track terminals on the controller and two wires to the track - you're done. All you need do is bring the locomotive up to speed and hit the buttons for sound. I don't use DCC so I can't comment but the hook up is the same you just have to work with the codes. Anyone using the Paragon family of HO or N scale locomotives will find it's money well spent. I highly recommend it for the money.

for the cost it only adds the bell and whistle. plus, you have to stop the train to stop the bell from ringing

I hooked this up using my MRC Tech 3 Model 9500 controller. Unfortunately I can not switch the train direction using the 9500. I have to disconnect the DC Master to be able to switch direction. I would think I would be able to have full functionality of the 9500. Disappointed.

I failed to notice that, under DC power, BLI Paragon 3 and 4 locomotives need a significant output of approximately 30VA. This may be the reason why my Kato powerpack does not seem to work well with the unit. More to come...

The DC Master Analog Control is great easy to set up and use and it works exactly as advertised. Would surely buy it again should the need arise and I get another dcc engine for my Christmas layout.

I have installed it and it works perfectly.
One small thing.........the wiring diagram that came with the item should explain that the input wires on the unit can be connected in any order. Similarly, the output wires can be connected in any order, i.e. polarity doesn't apply.
To the uninitiated, this can be quite confusing. An email to the manufacturer sorted the 'problem' out, but maybe the instructions with the item could be updated?

It does exactly what the manufacturer claims that it will do. The horn and the bell sound. However, the locomotive takes off at full speed and races around the track with no control from the power pack's throttle! Strange. . . .

I run DC, I'm old fashioned, but I have several BLI locomotives among which is a set of NYC Sharks. This unit allows me to enjoy the additional sounds that these models are capable of.
I highly recommend it.
