Description
Plastic model kit of the Destroyer Taszkient, Tashkent class 'Project 20' consisted of a single destroyer leader, built in Italy for the Soviet Navy just before World War II. Completed in 1940, Tashkent participated in the Sieges of Odessa and Sevastopol in 1941-1942, during which she ferried reinforcements and supplies into those cities, evacuated wounded and refugees, and provided naval gunfire support for Soviet troops. Kit consist of over 210 parts, 6 sprues, detailed deck with individual deck fittings, detailed superstructure, full weapon's array, ships boats, ships crane, detailed bridge, radar and antenna, anchor chain, photoetch (railings, inclined and vertical ladders, superstructure and additional fine accents), display stand. Completed model is approximately 15.7" long. Decals and 3-view color painting guide representing flight deck markings, hull markings, jack and ensign.
