Description
USS Enterprise CVN-65 - Academy 14400
The U.S. Navy Aircraft Carrier CVN-65 Enterprise, or "Big E", was built in 1961. She was the first nuclear-powered aircraft carrier and the world's largest ship at the time. The Enterprise had around 4,600 crew members and was launched on November 25, 1961. The "Big E" is also the second eldest authorized carrier in the U.S. Navy at the time, after the USS Constitution, which had a service length of 51 consecutive years. An amazing feat among other U.S. aircraft carriers. This kit authentically replicates the USS Enterprise CVN-65 in 1/700 scale. The fully assembled model is 56.6cm long and 14.0cm tall.
