This locomotive, numbered #1934 is Allen ’s birth year and represents a 1960 ’s era first generation diesel for the V\u0026amp;O complete with original  “coonskin ” logo. The Appalachian Lines, being part of the national railroad system, would most likely also pool power across the system with Tony Koester ’s Allegheny Midland and Steve King ’s Virginia Midland.
