Over 1300 of these locomotives were produced, and they were operated by virtually every major railroad in the United States. Additionally 26 units were built for Canadian railroads and another 57 units were built for Mexican railroads. These freight locomotives were powered by EMD 567D3A 16-cylinder engines that generated 2500 horsepower.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eIn this production run, we are modeling locomotives from eight railroads and a total of ten unique paint schemes, each with prototypically accurate road numbers. Each model is available in our newest Paragon4 Sound\/DC\/DCC control system featuring Rolling Thunder, and equipped with integral GoPack capacitor packs. We will also offer one model in each paint scheme in our Stealth Series  – these models are No-Sound and DCC-Ready.
