Bought a lot of Broadway locos now and they never fail to impress. With an old DC track though, a lot of the functionality is a waste so have a few Stealth models on order to see if they represent better value for money (Although I'll lose the sound?). Appreciate the smoke unit on this just like the Big Boy but just can't use it the way my old layout is set up (Can only use it on my small circular test track which isn't so spectacular). So again, the smoke unit is wasted in my case (If only there was a manual override?). Biggest issue I am finding is the rubber tyres die very quickly on Broadway locos unlike other brands. Good thing is Broadway provide an extra set of tyres with the loco which is great. Bad thing is when you have used them all up. A lot of the Steam Loco's still run ok with missing tyres (Obviously can't pull as much) however others like the P5A Boxcab don't run well at all, especially on a turn, without tyres? So could be a future problem once you run out of spare tyres? (Have used Fleischman tyres on my old Rivarossi locos though with success however - just trial and error to find the right size - possible back-up option). All in all, looks great cruising round the track.
